Stickies

The Painting and Conversion section of the website (and Im sure others) seem like they could use stickies. I dont visit this forum more than once a day, maybe once every two days but I see the same topics fairly often. Could be useful if it can be done? :idea:

I read the title to this thread and thought somebody was going to offer me a sticky bun to go with my cup of coffee

sticky=thread with great importance that is kept in evidence by admin with

marks like this, and they figure always at the head of thread queue.

Yep, I could name a few that seems to have been popping up at least once every week:

Best brushes
Best paints
Best primers and how to use them
What paints to use for NMM this/NMM that
How do I thin my paint
etc.
etc.

The sad thing about this is that most of those subjects are nicely explained in the article section and people seldom go there first ...

Or maybe one of you guys that can paint \"Ritual aka John luke Picard\" lol maybe could do a little Article for the Newbies with all the info, i.e. tools paints brushes NMM primers painting tips etc,

This is a good point. Though I guess a single \"sticky\" with links to commonly needed articles might help a bit. Not every site has a fantastic articles section like ours does so some newer users might not realize how good it is.

How \'bout a sticky to all 3000 of the \"I hate GW\" threads? That would prevent those cropping back up. Or \"what does your name mean?\" or \"NMM is better than metal (vice versa)\"

lol Can you even imagine how large the \"I hate GW\" thread would be? Thats gotta cause problems, but a good concept with the stickies!
