So is anyone playing?

I wanted to do a Dark elf Slaaneshi cult, but I\'ve only painted 2 models and I haven\'t actually bought the rest of the army yet...

So I\'ll probably play Dwarfs which are at least stuck together, and Wood elves (one of my few \"finished\" armies).

I have been following it on the web site, and have been reading all the fluff.

It sounds very cool, and I can\'t wait to see as all the results pour in.

I\'d really like to. Problem is most of our group prefer 40K. One guy in particular does\'nt like wfb - he\'s had really lousy luck in the two games he has played (in the first his chaos lord got took out by a cannon ball in the first turn and in the second was killed by his own magic weapon).

But I live in hope they will see the light...

Yeah, I\'m playing in it but I really shouldn\'t be. Everygame I play either ends in a draw (a no-game game) or a loss. So in the end I\'m really playing for the good guys instead of the baddies. It\'s all a very carefully laid out strategy you see

Yeah, I play Skaven, even though right now I\'m mostly painting. So far I\'ve actually only played one SoC game, which I nearly won...against tomb kings. They\'re scary...

Well, the good guys appear to be winning by about 5000 battles at the moment, which suits me, as I have a Middenheim Empire army. My mates and I are going to do some small 500pts games towards the campaign tommorow, I think I\'m gonna try out the new Von Carstein VC list

It\'ll be interesting to see how the final tally of battles compares to last years EoT campaign. Since FB is supposed to be much less popular than 40k, at the current rate their should be about 175000 battles played by the end of the camapign, compared to the 250000 for EoT, so still pretty impressive


Should be cool when Be\'Lakor turns up

I might have to bite the bullet and go into the store to play, can\'t get anyone to actually play a game, even those who said they are interested in playing!

Personally I\'m getting a little fed up with SoC myself. the fact that they wrote most of the fluff before bringing us into it made it feel less than worth while as I was playing it. I play chaos Tzeentch, and i\'ve noticed that we don\'t even have to get a town halfway down to win it. the fact that it doesn\'t seem to matter what the side of evil does, that we\'re going to make it to middenheim dispite ourselves. Not to mention the fact that there is no way to barter with the orc players, who could actually make the side of evil more powerfull than the side of good, there\'s just nothing to barter with.

I just lost, but very close game. I was being slaughtered, but then half his army paniced in the last turn making it a draw.
