no it\'s not, that\'s half my problem lol I get side tracked or go off on a tangent, making molds, casting stuff, building a vacuum chamber, putty oven, that kind of thing

How are you finding the Vallejo Alcohol metal paints? I still need to get some of the other colors (back ordered) before I can use mine and wanted to hear how they\'ve been working. Look great, but wondered about the actual painting with them.

I first used white gold for the metal above, and it was a right bitch to use, almost drying on the brush before I\'d done more than a couple of strokes. But I think my bottle has gone off, when I used the copper it was a dream, coverage was great, easily applied, and it looks like real copper, brilliant!

Keep it going man!

I will, I will, gotta take him to Salute on the 28th March

so that\'s the state of play at the moment
I\'ve applied VMC Smoke and GW Badab Black to the helmet trim, titivated the red a bit more
shoulder pads and neck chain(shit sculpting btw) are VMC Oily Steel

yeah I know, Scott R keeps harassing (in a nice way :D ) me to get on with it

I\'m hoping to get a good few hours on it tomorrow, after the shopping :(

And from the land of more constuctive posting the red looks much improved. Very nice and more Skaven-y! Nice work to make it look beat up and eye catching.

Granddad!
thanks
did you notice the difference between the regular metallic and the alcohol based?

I\'ve been thinking ahead to the spikes, can\'t decide if they should be bone colored or metal

they flow on lovely too, trouble is I think most of mine have had it, I don\'t think they like extremes of temperature, they were stored in the shed before I stated using them :(

I don\'t have the funds to order boxes of 6 from my supplier, so it\'s likely a trip to model zone is in order

I\'ve done a bit of work on the cloth, I\'m aiming for a purpleish kind of look to it and of course any other suggestions you may have :D

not quite,
had to sort out a table top. Sand it down, plane out the worst bumps, sand it some more, varnish it (4 coats) and then give it a wax, phew! I\'d forgotten how hard waxing was
but, I have a day off tomorrow so I\'m hoping to get it done
:D
