Stripping paint from plastic, and changing parts already glued?

Hey all I was wondering what to use to strip paint from plastic miniatures without melting the plastic, I know its possible I think I used mineral terpintine or metholayted spirits to do it either one.

And is there a way to get parts apart on glued plastics, without ruining them in the process?

Thanks in adcance, Paintatron1000

yeah ok, but more with the glued guys as the metholayted spirites is the way to go with the stripping. But I\'m still unsure about the taking apart the minis without damaging them, any ideas anyone.

If you used a regular plastics glue there will be little chance in taking your figures apart without ripping them. Plastics glue melts the plastic together. If done properly two parts cannot be seperated anymore.
If you used super glue instead (which only few peope do, because it doesn\'t work that well on plastic minis) there will be a chance that you can pop of the parts by carfully using a sharp knife on the glued part. Still a good chance to ruin the pieces though.
