Stripping paint

Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before but what is the best thing for stripping all the paint from a plastic mini? I've been told Dettol is good but should I dilute it or anything first and how long should I leave it in for? I don't want the stuff dissolving the plastic

Thanks, I went for neat Flash Clean & Care in the end. 24hr soak did the job and now they smell fresher than ever.
