Strong glue?

Ok, so I made some movement trays and glued tin sheeting inside and I used magnetic rubber on the underside of the bases of my figures. It seems strong enough for the plastics but I think I could do with some stronger magnets for the metal figures. I got a variety pack of rare earth magnets to find out what I needed. Now comes the problem. I got a magnet strong enough so the metal figures don\'t fall off, and don\'t slide much when sideways even with a few taps to the movement tray. Strong enough to maybe even put the unit on the tray on its side in a case. However, when removing the figure, it seems the magnetic pull was stronger than the GW super glue hold and it partially came undone. Therfore, after that long-winded explanation, I was wondering what people suggest I use to reglue the tin sheeting back on?

most of the ideas i have are complicated
(pop-rivets, bending metal around the edges) stuff thats not easy. i might have the mental pic wrong though. here this might work.... so you might have to get a c clamp or two and glue it, then sandwhich it inbetween two pieces of wood that are larger than the tray and then you use the c clamps on around where the tray is. you can tighten it really tight since the wood gives. only problem is the sides of the tray have to be gone or very resilent.lol

@DeMoNiCkNiGhT The thing is I want the bond of the magnets to be pretty strong as I\'ll be transporting them on the trays to and from games in a case. I think if I can get a strong enough bond I may even be able to have a case that I can put the trays sideways and not have the models fall off with the bouncing they\'ll get as I walk along and up the stairs to the gaming room.

@COG I think you have pretty much the right idea, although I\'d have to put something inside the tray as it\'s got a ridge on it (I made them from plasticard to suit the size I needed). I haven\'t got the strong glue yet as I\'m busy painting the daemonhunters and testing out which magnets are the right ones to use. One thing I have found is that two magnets of less total surface area but spaced apart are better than one larger one in the centre. It slides less with the two magnets.

i was afraid of that.
you might have to cut the wood to the movement tray size(in between the tray walls) it does complicate things as you have to have a saw of some kind or find a piece that fits inside the tray. gorilla glue is supposed to be super strong, but a two part epoxy is probably the best.
oh and congrats on the more magnets trick i guess if you think about it it makes sense.
