Studio McVey - The Raven Priest

I just wanted to share this mini with you. There\'s lots more info on our website but he is basically the first release from Studio McVey Miniatures.

Jaques- Alexandre Gillois did such an amazing job on this sculpt. Our jaws nearly hit the flaw when we first saw it in person.

Presumably the model works with or without the mouth-birds right? Separate pieces?

Birds are totally optional - they just plug in the mouth.

The look we wanted was of a ethereal/spell effect that he is summoning.

The open mouth is fully detailed

Wonderful, wonderful figure - quite how I\'ll do justice to it (especially after the studio paint-job) I don\'t know, but as soon as my money comes in from the last work I was doing, this one\'s going to be mine.

I take it they haven\'t sold out yet ?

This is one of the most interesting and unique sculpts I\'ve seen in a long time. Helluva first effort you two.

The best praise I can give it, though, is that I really paint nothing but Rackham and Helldorado minis, and yet I\'ll definitely be ordering this guy. Looking forward to seeing more.
