stupid drunken decisions

Last night I went out and got rather drunk, having work the next day I had the great idea of sleeping in my office to avoid not getting up.

I made it to the office, then thought I can\'t be bothered to go downstairs for a smoke I\'ll have one in the toilet. I tried to open the window but it would\'nt open so I thought I\'d give it a little push. What followed was a broken window a very confused drunken person and an awkward decision.

In the end I did\'nt stay at work and have denied all knowledge of the event, luckly I\'m in the clear. The moral of the story dont go near your work place while intoxicated it can only lead to bad things :drunk:

Considering I\'ve done scientific experiments during/after being at the bar (in grad school, the biology dep\'t and grad pub were next door to each other!) I\'d say it IS a bad idea to be drunk around your workplace.

We spend too much time there anyway :D

Well glad it didn\'t end up badly for you.

As for keeping drunkness away from work (or school in my case), my school started baning alcool from its premices this year, we had a bar in the school before :p So I\'ve been forced to keep the two seperat :)

No one at work are mini painters, so I\'m safe with the confession.

I still can\'t believe I did it, I was in shock for a good 15 minutes after the event. I\'m glad I\'ve got tomorrow off :D

Dragon Forge Design, thank you for not mentioning rule 34 :D

Yetie, well done. You now have a story to tell (though only to a circle of select people ;)) with no repercussions. Instead of feeling stupid, you should feel liberated! :D

Maybe he hadn\'t heard of it?

Nothing totally inane, however I may have been a bit wacky to a friend who I usually consult on serious world issues lol

Rule 53.4 sec. L - Going to bed really drunk can lead to getting up in the morning to a VERY large wet area on the carpet next to the bed........learned firsthand, many moons ago.:drunk:

Lesson learned and story gained. Here\'s hoping there\'re no cameras monitoring your work place or this story may not yet be over. ;)

Yes we\'ve all made some.
Which is one of the reasons I NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE .

And equally I\'ve made some really sensible sober decisions while someone else was \"Tanked\".

Beer has caused some memorable shenanigans for me, including dancing naked around stone circles in Cardiff, storming a castle, riding a wheelie-bin to town, getting locked in a car park...

All in all, beer is a great liberator; but avoid school nights!

I lost my trainers in London after a night out.

Had to wander round central London the next day in my socks with a tenner looking for some really cheap footwear.

Lost two dear family friends to a drunk driver and almost lost my mother to another one..............If you\'re deadset on drinking, driving and plowing straight into a tree, go out in the country side and by all means go for it but dont take some innocent down with you!!:cussing::flame:
