whats the point in submitting something to be scored on how it looks if you can\'t be bothered to make it look good?

There is no point, but ther will always be people who \"don\'t get it\" .

not everybody has the luxury of a 22\" monitor

Even that doesn\'t make anything better as CMON resizes the original images.

As for other gripes... as Dragonsreach says, the image moderators are not here to enforce image quality, just to prevent uploading of dirty or irrelevant pics and broken image links. They see so many images, they probably can\'t remember who is uploading duplicates or near-duplicates.

I dont know anything about editing photos so i am going to have a hard time when in comes the time to post pictures

agree with Cedric here...
Took me nearly a year of visiting CMON to realise the help and information the forums offered..

also stickying the info threads is a good move... not just r.e phtography but brushes debates, paint debates etc...

there must be nothing more disconcerting to newcomers who ask what in their mind is a valid question to be bombarded by regulars sayng it\'s been done to death...

yeah i hate the selling ones - ooh look i put a different shield on it and painted it grey - now buy it for 3 times its original value.

the real bugbear however are when you get the same mini 10 times in a row from different angles - most out of focus and dark anyway

- use your brain people, if you can work out how to hold a brush you can think for yourself - even elephants manage it
