Ok, today was a good day and so I just need to exclaim about it! Some of you may remember in my new years resolutions that 2 of them were fairly ambitious, basically that I would...
-Start my own graphic design business
-Move to a new place, preferably my first house (ownership)
Well I\'ve been working my butt of on that first one for the last 3 weeks (one of the reasons why you haven\'t seen a lick of painting from me in that time), and yesterday I finished my first major graphic design project for my and first and probably biggest continuing client (big enough that I could only have them and do very well). And today I got the reaction from them, that I did a great job and that I\'ll definately be used by them on an ongoing basis like I had hoped. Basically it means the business is a success! and that not only will I be able make back the start up costs but will actually be able to support myself well doing something I enjoy and being my own boss!!! (although I\'ll be keeping the suit wearing job for a while still for a while).
This is such good news that I went out and looked at houses in my area and may now be making an offer in the next couple weeks. Maybe also end my days of renting!
I\'m just thrilled! Now it\'s time to go out and celebrate! (and I\'ll be free to do a ton of painting now this weekend as well! which I\'m super excited about, if I remember how anymore!)
