suggest a name?

hi there all,

i have made a tank with six legs and called ia a spider tank, but there is a lot of people that say the the name is rubbish, so here is your chance to come up with a name for it?

Please be sensible and no rudeness

I\'d just thought I\'d take this oppurtunity to say that I love this model and I have nothing against it, infact far from it. I just thought you might get the wrong idea because I\'ve ripped it out of the name for so long now!;)

Heavy ATV (all terrain vehicle)?

Not terribly imaginitive, but it does what it says on the tin!

Spider-tank doesn\'t make a lot of sense, since it has 6 legs and not 8

How about putting \'defile\' into the thesaurus on Word, then getting a name from the results.

Something like \'Desecrator\' or even \'Besmircher\' :D

Now there\'s a lovely :D I like big guns. Well, actually I like big blades, but failing that, big guns do just as well :D

Name. Well. Um.

Boomer? (Westwood stole that name from my Mod, I swear)
Redeemer? (I suppose it\'s a Marine vehicle?)
Eviscerator? (Quite selfexplanatory)

Little Latin perhaps?
Recusator (Recusare is latin for deny)
Regnator (regnare: to rule)
Furor (Anger)
Eriperator (eripere: to rip out)


Those came to my mind quite quickly... maybe I\'ll find some more after a good night\'s slep ;) What direction do you want to go with that thing\'s name?

ok, some good ideas like SWORD and mosch ideas, but still looking for a name that hits/strikes me.....if you know what i mean, something that will make me think...\"yup thats it perfect :bouncy:\".

the gun and the turret are from a lemon russ tank, thought with that little bit of info might help dreaming up some more names...:D

How about, Fire-Ant. It looks kinda like an ant to me. Looks a little like a crab too, but crabs aren\'t that menacing, all they do is pinch, or if your\'e really unlucky, itch.:)

like your thinking but still does not hit the spot, i have that feeling that i will never find a real name for it. :(
