I think the fire-ant idea is pretty good, and it is pretty big, so why not call it a titan:
Fire-ant Titan (Ok, I know the abbreviation would be FAT

Wait... that sounds familiar.
Perhaps you should just make up a name and pretend it is the last name of the machines inventor or manufacturer, like with Boeing 747.

Personally I think Spider Tank is both original and fitting. On top of that, if this boheamoth existed in reality that is likely the name it would be given, dispite having 6 legs.
If I were you I\'d call it the spider tank and then if anyone says \"It only has 6 legs,\" then respond with something really tough like, \"Eat it,\" or, \"You want to donate two?\" or \"Eat it.\"
