Just finished watching the new film (animated) about the death of superman. What a waste of time this was it did not even adhere closely to the original telling.Where were the other heros at not here they didn\'t even have the characters that were created after his death. So what do you think out there?DD:flame::flame:::|~

The Death of Superman was a money making attempt from the get-go....the original story was shoddy at best, I\'m not suprised this would be any better.

true,

but i am a die hard fan of the timm-verse.

bruce timm that is. he and paul dini single handedly revived dc in the early 90\'s. and again with justice league in the early 21st century....

now the wb is doing more with the batman....which has just included the justice league and the whole poison ivy controlling superman premise from hush...which was awesome btw......not to mention ultra pissy superman from the future on league of super heroes.

sorry but my son and i love to watch these shows on saturday morning.

:)

The thing you have to remember is that the original death and return of superman took over a year in four or five books. To fit all that into an animated movie would have resulted in a LOTR size film. For what it was, I thought it was pretty good.

That\'s odd. I was just thinking, \"Superman is weak. Reverend could crush him.\"

The advertisements for that movie traumatized my three year old son. \"Superman dies?!?\" he whimpered. I had to reassure him that Superman is just fine. Three year olds don\'t have voluntary suspension of disbelief. They have occasional forays into reality.

Superman isn\'t weak.
He\'s just stupid.
Just watch \'Justice League\' for all the proof you need.

It\'s all about The Batman...

And yes, Reverend could crush him.
Like an egg.

I think it would be a \'superduperman\'.

Regardless, I\'m still putting this DVD on my \'netflix\' list, as me and my daughter love to watch this sort of thing together!
