Suspect banner?

Where\'s the problem?
The same painter once posted a single shot of the standard bearer, seemed all right to me. He\'d told how he\'d done it (basically highlight from blue to white, then do the innermost \"highlight\" with black - pen or brush, I forgot). I actually copied that single pic to my drive, as my SO liked that idea for her own Dark Elves

It looks like photoshop to me.

It looks a bit like photoshop to me, but not enough to think it actually is, or care. I myself could do that with paint if I was patient enough so I don\'t see why I should suspect it.

Because people say you can get a good ranking if you use photoshop on CMON. I think that is what the post is about. To see if you think something is a little off about this banner.

Yes. I just wanted some other view points. My main reason for being suspicous was that the quality of the troops was below what I would expect from someone who could achieve such an effect without photoshop.
Obviously this has no personal bearing on me but this is a discussion forum based around miniatures and their paintjobs.
