Different language families! Swedish is a Germanic langauage while Finnish is an Ugric language (together wiht Estonian, Hungarian among a few others).

There are crossovers. In the very northern of Sweden there are people who speak a type of Finnish which is mixed a little with Swedish. My gf\'s parents speak that sort of Finnish.

I gotta give Sweden a lot of credit for the win, that is a tough tournament, one bad game can spell the end. I thought Russia was going to go far after they beat Canada, but it just shows that you have to keep that level every game.

At least the US players didn\'t mess up their rooms/hotel in the athletes village like they did 8 years ago
