i used to love BB, it was what got me back into painting miniatures after the school boy WWII plastic figures and airfix kits.... many years ago.

They used to look a little too cartoony before but are looking good now.

You have kinda adopted his nmm stlye (no doubt through you painting with him day in day out).

You did an amazing job on the ball, it acutally looks like a shrunk basketball!

The face is amazing too. Any hints on how you painted the face?

The idea with this fig was to make Griff look just like the Blood Bowl box cover art. I spoke with Neil Langdown (Langy) who sculpted the miniature and we both agreed that he should replicate the art in the pose and the paint job, you can\'t see it in the pic but his gloves even have readable script on them which matches the box art. Both Langy and i are huge fans of Blood Bowl, loved painting this one!

Here is how the face was done-
*tallarn flesh
*wash dark flesh
*wash scoeched brown
*highlight tallarn + fortress + bleached bone
*add more bleached to the above mix
*bleached bone
*wash scab red around the nose and lip
*wash regal blue and beached mix around the eyes.
*finish with a white highlight
