Swordmaster WIP

Hi,

I started this conversion yesterday and now its coming along nicely I thought I\'d upload this picture to get some other opinons and ideas.

I\'m not too sure about the breeches at the minute and am debating whether or not to cover them with a tunic.

PS. Apologies for the mix up with the pics earlier, forum posting isn\'t my forte.

you\'ll need some where to upload the picture to (a personal server or a photoupload service) and then link to it use the \"img-code\"

let the putty dry, then you cut off quite alot of the legs, \'cos atm they look really fat.

and once the BS is dry, take some BS and smoothen out the scales.. \'cos they look a bit deep.

here is a great example :D

keep it up ^^

Update

Hi,

Here\'s a pic of how things look at the minute.

Theres still a lot of things to be done. I need to add a plume to the helmet; finish the right arm, tidy up the scale armour and I think I will indeed cover up the legs with a tunic.

I\'m not sure what to do for the base, does anyone have any thoughts?

first of all... that arm is too long,

sencond... for the base, I think it would be cool to have a white marble effekt :)

Ok, I think its pretty much done, though no doubt I\'ll look at it in an hours time and decide to change something.

Here\'s some pics, I\'d like to know your thoughts.

NB. For some reason the scales don\'t look as good in the pictures as they do in real life.

i like the pose but i would say that his right arm is too long. i reckon it would look better if you cut about 1/3 to 1/2 of the wire off and had a sharper bend to it

He has no waist per se. So I agree that he looks a bit hefty. It may also be causing the proportion issues that others have mentioned.
