One to hold the phone (had to be hand held to be reported - blu-tooth wouldn\'t be seen).

Yeah. That would be endangering the child. She should have pulled over.

and another one for not having the baby in a baby seat?
I see kids bouncing around vehicles occasionally here now. (I know I grew up standing in the seat.) But, working on the highways, I\'ve seen my share of cars that get mangled. So far, every time I\'ve been around when they\'ve pulled a child seat out, all they\'ve had to do is shake the shattered glass out of the seat and pass the baby to the medics - maybe a band aid.
There is no excuse (IMHO) for not having a baby in a baby seat.

The only thing that amazes me more than her \"reasoning\" is that she actually didn\'t get into an accident. That comment about God protecting children and fools comes to mind...it looks like He did both.
