I\'ll pack away a hottie for you Becca. And yes, my boy is cute. But he\'ll never believe it. All I hear about is \"My hair is frizzy, I have a pizza face and my nose is spread all over my face\". I thought I was bad at that age!

He still has a crush on you Becca. He seems to like dark haired girls.

hehe, he\'s a sweetie. and has impeccable taste ;) (it made me laugh out loud to write that)

speaking of, I\'m finally going back to black. this hair of mine used to be every shade of red under the sun but i realize the black looks the best. hopefully Floridian summer doesn\'t kill it though lol

A natural color is best, plus black hair (well at least mine) has a habit of redding up in heavy sun. So I think that going O natural would just make you all that cuter :D

@Airhead. believe me I\'ve been tempted. Of course when I got up this morning and wanted to get online, there it was again, or rather, there it wasn\'t, the adsl light was off again. So, my daily ritual of phoning tech support was continued. Thi9s time I told them about the past two days when a time was arranged for the engineers to contact me but didn\'t. I tried to remain calm and told them I was really not impressed with the situation. As the engineers were on the job they wouldn\'t even reset the thing so I could get online for a while and told me I\'d be contacted in the next 24 hours.

Typically, the short time I was nowhere near the phone, they rang. I didn\'t hear it but they left a message saying if I still have the problem they will call again within 24 hours or I could phone them. Now that sounded like they\'ve done something which they think has fixed the issue, and well, I tried to get online and OMG, I can! Still, the past experiences mean I\'ll be continuously thinking I\'ll have to phone them up again.

Roger I feel your pain and frustration with getting nowhere on an issue.

Remember the headache I had with Lowes? Yeah . . . that started how long ago? Today they are finally finishing installing the new floor in my kitchen. At least it\'s getting done but it took them dang long enough.

Onto just a general topic. This weekend has been busy already and it\'s only Saturday morning here! The floor in the kitchen is being installed, I\'ve poured resin for my first try at water bases, one of my GD entries is done save applying the finishing touches to the base (one of the water bases that is currently drying . . . still need to add shrubbery), I\'ve got other demon projects ready to go . . . once my house is put back together I have to clean the house before my friends arrive for a night of relaxation then packing tomorrow morning for a business trip to Phoenix for a couple of days. Oy! Busy busy busy. But at least things are geting done right?

I feel your pain Meg. I went to my son\'s soccer game (where I was the official photographer and have to send out about 30 emails after I upload the pics to shutterfly), replaced the blade on my lawnmower and mowed the back yard, replaced the pump of my side screen door, replaced a hinge on one of my sheds, and took off the sliding screen door for my deck so I can unbend it (damn dog). All before noon.

Still on the to do list:
Replace the other hinge on the shed
Mow front yard
Fix screen door
Get food for all the grranimals
Finish both my IP V entry and my WAMP entry.

Its a busy Saturday.

WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:

I just got back from the Warhammer 25th birthday party day at GW and not only did I get tons of free and/or cheap stuff but I also won the first prize in the raffle!

I\'m now the proud owner of one of these

I have no idea what number it is because I don\'t want to take it out of the cellophane wrapping. Hmmmmmmmm... what to do with it? Do I horde it or flog it???

:D make like a dragon and \"horde\" it

seems like the sharks are fighting back, sad to say one swimmer was killed yesterday...so all beachs are closed from Del Mar north..which just means you stay out of the water....the weekend is suppose to climb into the 90s-100s

Give the book to me for free and then I\'ll flog it. See, your dilemma is solved.

The engineer phoned back again. He didn\'t say what the problem was but it appears they\'ve fixed it, although they\'ll monitor it for another day. I figure that I\'ve been getting disconnected at least once, usually twice in a 24 hour period so if it goes that long without doing so then I can relax a bit. He also said they\'ve credited my account although that\'s not gone through yet.

EDIT: Return of the Grump... It happened again. They\'ll phone me at 4pm tomorrow. *sigh*

I just spent an entire day sleeping! Oh the luxury! The boy and Mr. C are down in Palmsprings with Mr C\'s Mom for the weekend and I have the whole house to myself! I haven\'t been able to sleep all day for ....... well.........since last year about this time when they went to Palmsprings. I needed it so bad, let me tell you. But now I must go paint. I have a ton of stuff that must be done by next weekend. Bye all! :D

Well I\'ve just had the pleasant task of rebuilding my laptop after it was Virus\'d.
Despite my best efforts at protection  I visited a site of one of our lesser known Painters, last week and got hit by a right F*** storm of an attack.
So after a major clean up and constant battle with both IE and Firefox, being damaged I was forced to give up and reformat the whole Laptop this morning.
Thank goodness for Sysyem re-build disks and USB pen drives or I\'d still be gnashing teeth.
After all this I now have to bring the wireless connection back and I\'m done.

Salutory note to all people, make sure you keep your anit-virus up to date on a daily basis.

Have you contacted the painter in question? Does he/she know about it? Maybe you should post the url so nobody else visits it until the virus has gone from the site.

Took out the Url from their account details and I won\'t let it back in until I\'m sure it\'s safe. And I\'ve been checking that from my \"Defender PC\" system at work and if anything \"Breaks\" that then we\'re well Shafted.
I won\'t publicise the persons Alias, just in case people try to search for the User & Url.

So do I. Just this particular POS managed to break IE and screw up my surfing.
After I cleaned it I had to reinstall IE6, didn\'t work.
Managed to get Firefox 2 to allow the download of IE6 SP1, still didn\'t work properly. (Oh Yeah,Opera won\'t work on this laptop).
Ended up downloading IE7 which worked but then started to hang swapping pages. Then the same problem started with Firefox and I knew it was time to start from scratch.
Anyhow seems as if everything is back to \"normal\" now. Clean and running sweet.

So while I\'m surfing on my laptop I\'m also in the process of fixing my mate Paul\'s brother Martin\'s Laptop. Currently Defragging after a Disc check and repair.
How many damaged sectors???
Looks as if it might last for another couple of months before needing replacing.
(Hey Multi-Tasking :D).
