Well, let\'s see. Hmm, there\'s the blue skaven period, the over-done ink wash period and maybe one or two others. Then I\'ll try and get a pic of the interior to my stormtroopers\' rhino and by that time I should have finished the highlights on the armour for my grey knights I\'m doing at the moment. I\'ll take some pics of those before I ruin them with the blue glazing.

The KISS period lasted for two whole minis, before I gave up on the idea of painting in the irises with a cocktail stick.

I\'d probably mess that up if I tried. These grey knights have been painted and repainted half a dozen times, and there are still areas that are a bit lumpy, due to me continuing to paint whilst I\'m getting too tired and then I rush the job, make mistakes and not letting the paint dry properly before I try ajnd correct the mistakes. Still, if these four end up being the worst in the army then I\'ll be happy. I\'ve already been told I\'m mad for free-handing the shoulerpad heraldry on them all. I had painted 14 of them with the freehand done and the armour done up to the shading but they\'ll get redone as I\'ve bought magnifiers since and the freehand is just not good enough, and there are mould lines I\'ve missed.

Ouch, I hurt. Wonderful weekend in the Keys though. Great times with some great friends and family.

So Roger, after my adventures on the road I think we should have a nice quiet evening. I think we\'ll go to Yosemite National Park and give your new camera a work out taking photos of the landscape. We\'ll take it slow, not doing the big hikes I think. I\'ll drive this time (I thought I was going to die earlier) so we don\'t hit any moose or buffalo.

After that I think we\'ll go here for dinner. I love sushi and Lake Tahoe is beautiful . If you don\'t like sushi there are other wonderful places to eat in the area.

After dinner it\'s just a short hop over to Reno Nevada where we can do some gambling if you want.

There\'s all kinds of green around here. Dark green, medium green, light green.

at this time of year, everything dries up and turns into kindling, I pray we don’t have another Oct. fire storm

Where I live green must be some kind of disease. Even when it rains we only get some kind of grey/blue color. Mostly its a yellow/brown/tan color with lots of nasties crawling in it.

Well I\'m heading back up there for a weeks holiday starting on the 14th so I\'m looking forward to doing my ankles in from wading through heather

Don\'t let her fool you! I have about 70 rose bushes and an apple tree (okay, it\'s only 4 feet hight, but it IS growing) and I live in Victorville, not a long way from Lizzy! Yes, the desert is brown, but you can make it blossom....you just have to leave a chunk of your budget for the water bill!
