Oh, the bar will quickly dirty itself, and the animals haven\'t yet been transferred to the new bar. Fluffy will be needing a new litter tray.

I think the Sherpas are finished dismantling the old bar and should be in with the yaks soon. Theres a whole new batch of yak butter delivered so I\'ll be seeing to that sometime today. Don\'t worry. The bar will grime up quite nicely soo. ;)

Why wait -

Everybody stand back cause here comes Tiddles, Fluffy, Killer, and Clyde - they should have the place full of \"atmosphere\" in no time.

Aww, don\'t give up. Maybe not caring about the scores is actually the key. If you try and guess what people want to see that takes the fun out of it.

wait... people were posting minis here instead of the WIP forum!?

argh - maybe I\'d get more comments if I posted WIPs here then :/

Only me, really, DaN. I\'ll be doing a proper W.I.P. after these current minis, which I started before I got my camera. It was also to show my old minis, which I told some people about and I promised to show them. My first two non daemonhunters minis will be in the M.E. W.I.P., but I don\'t know when I\'ll be starting them just yet.

Now, on to something else. Here\'s a poem for Donna, celebrating the Summer Solstice. It\'s by Jade Wah\'oo.

Ahh! First
Ray of Dawn

Awakens the heart

In appreciation of life
This morn of Summer\'s
portent born.

Yes! Love,
My basket,
Yearning to be filled
With all bliss in the ecstatic
Joy garnered from Earth\'s
Green delight!

Oh! You
Golden orb,
Bless all life brought forth
In the flowers\' promise made known
By fruit and bird song
From now on.

Ha! Smile
Upon us,
Lighten each our heart
That every child is fed and loved;
Embraced in green arms
And bloom bright.

Ahh! First
Ray of Dawn:
Summer\'s Solstice born.
Earth\'s passionate embrace fulfilled,
Her covenant song
Our troth.

You know I always thought these threads were for people with 1000+ posts (maybe it is?). If not mines a, err, protein shake please! I don\'t drink :drunk:

We have no problem with \"under 1,00 post\"ers in the bar, but non-drinkers is a totally different issue ;)

...still, more for the rest of us I suppose :drunk:

Arma, non-freaks are fine, but there are some concessions, such as only freaks are allowed to use the bathrooms, the rest use one of the potted plants.

Hello! Is there anything behind the bar for a hangover? I think I\'m dying!
Still... Its not all bad, my entry for the Wyrd painting comp. is nearly done, despite me slipping and draging the paintbrush across the whole thing :flame:

The only hangover remedy I can recommend is to stay drunk as long as possible - works every time :p

I once convinced a friend that the best hangover cure was to gargle on a raw egg.

Oh was that not a pretty site!

Meg, remember that most slayer sword winners here barely score above a 9.

A single mini will hardly ever score that. A diarama is almost required.

And on a different day with a different set of judges, you\'d have placed differently.

Finally, lots of us here have been painting a lot longer than you and do not have the level of talent I see in your work. My old hands and eyes are doing very good to break a 7.

???

Take a look through the gallery with a 9-10 filter on, there are loads of single minis above 9, far more than diorama\'s.
