Tamiya Smoke and Orange Clean

I picked up both these products today (I couldn\'t find Simple Green anywhere) along with some Tamiya clear colours (I am remarkably impressed with these and would suggest them to anyone in the hobby). Naturally I have a few questions having never used these before.

-What do you use Smoke for? I\'ve read about it often, however it seems to have slipped my mind as to what its used for.

-How long does Orange Clean take to strip paint and how much of the paint does it remove?

Thanks in advance guys.

I have the Smoke and use it with Reaper Gunmetal to get a nice dark metallic look (I used this on the axe on the Conan of Cimmeria in my gallery). The one thing I noticed, and I am not sure if it was the Gunmetal or the Smoke, was that even though I let the Gunmetal dry as long as usual before I would put down a wash of ink, when I put down the Smoke the Gunmetal came off a bit and formed some clumps I had to remove. But I really like the look.

I bought a pot of Smoke the other day and have been playing. It\'s REALLY glossy, so lends itself to oily or metallic effects. Wash it over tin bitz for a cooler \'ink\' effect or use on parts you want to look greasy. Not sure how it\'ll look after a coat of matte varnish. I certainly think it has its uses over metallics.
