Very nice colour scheme and really well painted. I know what you mean about Graveyard Earth though, it\'s a nice tone but I find it very difficult to get a good coverage with it. A lot of patience needed I think.

hehe i didn\'t know that those are gems there i\'m not familiar with tau gear yet but thanks for the tip. i often do dark highlights on black cause they look good for me but on the pictures those parts seem not to be highlighted at all (look at my Wolf priest or emperors champ in my gallery for example). i just have to finally understand it that they must be brighter

Nice original color scheme. The llighting effects are nice and the details all work well together.
The only bad thing that I can sqeeze out would be that the base could use a bit more detail but that\'s just so I can give you a con. (not that I had to I guess) :twisted:

Sweet love the colour... Graveyard Earth Don\'t leave home without it...
I accidentally left a pot open overnight and found it a lot easier to get a mix with good coverage now but still it can be a bugger to work with..
The lighting is awesome and suits the model fantastically.
As for gems on the sensors...???? I\'ve never painted them as gems myself. The Tau don\'t have much in the way of gems etc and I think the details look great the way they are and don\'t draw attention away fom the other parts of the model.

p.s. they are not gems or jewels. The Tau don\'t have gems on them at all. gemming it all up would make this mini ugly. some ppl get too carried away with flashy bases. A nice flat base can be just as attractive, especially in a large army. Not every mini should be elevated on a platform. save that for the commander
