You might try putting some \'twinkle\' in the stars (?) on the suit. Right now it looks like black granite.......unless granite is what you\'re going for.

I like where everyone is going with Bruno Rizzo\'s concept. To add to that I think that what you should is make them dark and have the color change start from the ground up. Meaning that you should decide how you are going to make the ground look and have the elements and colors of the ground merge with the suit.

The link has a pic of what I mean. The model is an earthborn and it can incorporate the strength of whatever it touches basically. He is touching a warmachine and the idea shows how that incorporation takes place. The arm takes on the coloration of the machine to show that the machines power is fusing with the beast. Doing something like this would look every interesting.

Showing that the ground is fusing with the suit to give off the illusion of stealth would look great. Rizzo does this but perhaps you can find a more interesting base to use. Maybe have a dying space marine on the base and the suit begins to fuse with the space marines armor coloring or somthing. As if the suit is trying to assume the form of a marine to go unnoticed as one.

Hope this helps.

This is just another pic of me trying to get the camo to work, I want it to look like it is constantly changing with the background and here i am trying to show it merging with the helmet

I think that\'s pretty cool! :) The green bases however is something I would change asap.
The bright green detracts from the paintjob and takes away all atmosphere.
Add some fine gravel and maybe a bit of static grass, all using similar colours as the stealth suit.. that way the stealth suit will melt into it\'s surroundings better!

I like those as well. As Sven said, just do something to the bases.

I like that spattered camo/texture though. Might try that on something.... :)

It\'s a pretty cool idea. /nod

I still think I\'d try and push the contrast up a bit. I think what I would try is to bring up some highlights from the base coat. Then do the texture/camo/chameleon effect. Then I\'d shade down from there.

I also agree with something more in line with the colors of the camo effect for the bases. Show that they\'re fading to towards their surroundings \'n\' all.

Nice idea! =)

Thanks Guys,

I agree the bases are awful but i just wanted to not have them with nothing on, I am always neglecting the bases, so I will take on board all the ideas you have had and do something with them, then repost.
This was something new for me and I am quite pleased with how they look, I will be doing more and I will play with the idea a little until I get it right.

Once again thanks for all the encouragement.
