I\'ve used Bruno Rizzos army (the one from GW site) color scheme for the battlesuit and i have to say it matches tau very well. Maybe Bruno won\'t send any lawyers on me when i paint more minis in these colors:D

The firewarrior is my earlier tryout for tau. Armor is done with bestial brown and white and clothes are painted with scorched brown and snakebite. I really can\'t force myself to finish him he\'s standing like this for few months now. Maybe it\'s becouse my head is charged with much better ideas for this army.

I think your Firewarrior kicks ass. Looks tougher than usual Firewarrior, due to his pose.

My complaints are, the highlighting, or lack thereof on the gun. Also, the brown section of his shoulder armor looks very BORING.

Otherwise, the brown to white armor rocks, and the underclothing really matches. Have you tested that scheme with different helmet\\gun colors???

these are work in progress pictures so only the helmet, chest and legs are finished on the firewarrior:) I think about leaving the gun black and painting part of it nmm as well as the brown plate on his shoulder pad but yeah, other color helmet is a nice idea too. I\'ll try it on the next mini.

I\'m just curious about 1 little thing..
The feet..I know they\'re not finished what i was wondering is what is the blue overspray on the right foot from?? just curious..

Anyway again some really sweet work there.

What kind of process did u go through for the armor? Brown, then keep mixing white into it? Are the final highlights white with a touch of brown?

cheers for that ..was just puzzling thought you had a new magic undercoat formula over your part of the world would certainly explain the awesome work coming from there.:beer:

A different color helmet I think would work for a Sergeant, for regular troops the color it has seem more than fine to me. By the way... looking really good. I wanted to point out the slit on the battlesuit\'s chest has a very nice glow to it. As a suggestion, you should look at that color when browsing your brain for a complementary color to isolate from the browns. It fits in perfectly and seems futristic tau style. Go on with it

Hell yeah! Looks great man. I see that blue matches the color scheme very well. Keep it going man. Now lets see that firewarrior finished!

Man this kicks ass, the battlesuit is so good im going to buy on later!!! i have loads of WIPS i might put a posting on this weekend,

I love the fire warrior the blended helmet looks really cool,

i get really dissapointed when people say they would like to see more highlighting and the legs finished!! God Damn this is a WIP SECTION LOL!! (No offence meant to anyone)

Great work man keep it up!! :beer:
