I love science and lately I\'ve been thinking that I want to teach it as a job, is getting a job as a science teacher difficult?

I actually was going into teaching for a while, had most of my observing hours done so the teacher i was observing let me teach the class for a week

I absolutually couldn\'t stand it.

Meh, I would be a fun teacher.

I\'m way to demanding.

I have such high standards when it comes to personal academics, that I expect everyone to have the same. (like wanting a decent grade) but alot of students just don\'t care.

and that drove me crazy.

I don\'t care, its their heads on the platter cuz if they don\'t want to pay attention, I\'ll make them do some greuling task or grab a megaphone a shout at them until they wake up.

Hmm -

Depends upon the state you live in. However, most states would prefer that you have a degree in education, with a minor in your field, rather than a degree in the area you want to teach and a minor in education.

In addition, as a male, you have a better shot at a teaching job if you can coach a sport - so you need a major in education with a minor in sports kineseology and a minor in science.
