Salamanders look good even with armor darker than Snot Green. Their original color scheme was very close to the current Dark Angels actually, but include black shoulder pads full of fire and whatnot.

I love that Salamander paintjob by Vincenti by the way, he asked me to critique some of his GD entries this year. I was stunned, naturally
