Update:

Last touch ups on the metal, bit of OSL in the back and that's it I am done! It's in my cabinet right now waiting for the base>>>> Huge weight off my shoulders! I tough I would never finish this dude! Now I need a deserved rest, all that tinny stuff is nerve wrecking. I am going to do light stuff while I am waiting for my orders to come in to start the base, clean AB, stuff like that, my bust will be arriving soon too :)

OK for those who think that painting tinny freehand is insane now try painting with these metallic paints, another nightmare await for you! It took me at least a good year to start master the technique.

These paints are thinner base paint, a totally different ball game then with acrylics! If you want to know how to paint with these paints you need to find Bogusz "Bohun" Stupnicki's TMM tutorial on (miniature mentor) website or something like that.

So those are the paints I use, I got a dark one for basing, a second one for mid highlights and the last one for final highlights.

You gonna need thinner, a lot of thinner! Use in aired space.

Final touches, last highlights plus some OSL in the back, not over did it, what I hate is overdid OSL. The jet pack is just warming, the champion is about to go confront another champion.

Amazing, I especially like how the freehand on the steel parts isn't obvious at first until you zoom in, it's like an extra surprise hidden in plain sight

Thanks guys! I am happy you like him!

Today I spent time polishing my photography so I opened my special box and took some shots.

What 's the use of painting amazing miniatures but not be able to have good pictures of them to share!!! If you are a miniature painter and you want to have nice pictures of you miniatures (well unless you are BAM who have a wonderful wife photograph artist) Well you MUST possess some photography skills.

This is my setting, camera is in manual, manual zoom too, 2 sec delay, F8 and I shoot in around +0 I go up and down according. When I shoot TMM you go more around -1

This is my set up

Remember her, I spent a lot of time on that tinny head! I almost took her from the dead and then I decided to put her back in the box. When the electricity is not there of just a sec or too naaahh.

Even though I was a steady loser back then , I still basked in the magicical feeling brought on by looking at all those awesomely painted minis that resembled this very quality.;)

Lol, tero and his lamp fetish. Thanks for sharing your set up tero. I have struggled with my pics for a long time. I think I need to add one more lamp, and figure out how to diffuse my led bulbs.

When I came back I did a quick job of those marble columns, I am almost there... Just need more highlights on the gold, put into the base and finally put the champion on it!

Fore those interested this was my palette, don't ask me to precise questions I did it on the fly like a mad artist! If you have any I will try to answer as best as I can.

I did not use all of them but most :)

Your marble is exceptional Tero...that pink colouration is spot on. Very impressive....will definately be referring back these pics should I ever decide to tackle any.

Very nice marble effect, and the scale inks are really nice, I wish I had more colours for them (I could probably mix the inks to make what I want but I'm last :D)
