@Skel; I think you are right P&P sucks balls, just a hang out for pros.

TERO is like a hornets nest- kick it ... watch out cause he’s coming out with a SWARM OF FRESCOS!!!!! Lol

You know what bro, there's no hornets left in the nest!

Forget about the fresco, forget about the champion I just want to think about my incoming projects. Thanks you good night!

So... I will not hear about ANY other SILLY jokes about my lamps right!?

Started the gold on the Protector prime, I just can't paint in series, I rather jump from the 10th floor, it drives me nuts. So I am testing on the Prime and writing notes and if it passes I will do the others like him.

Here with a base coat and first hightlights

In this first phase I am shading the "shades" a cold color to give the illusion of depth and the "highs" a hot color to give a illusion of closeness, in the middle with my base color "gold". I know it doesn't look like gold yet but this is just the first stage.

My base color is chestnut ink plus a but of yellow ink in, to shade the "shades" I use the common color (chestnut ink) and I add i bit of blue ink in it and for the shades in the "highs" I add red ink in the chestnut ink

The result so far

Very nice start... even at this early stage it looks great, some nice contrast. I don’t know if it’s just the photo but I like how the inks have seemed to mixed and given it a greenish hue in certain places, gives a nice tarnishing effect.

Thanks, yes when I add blue to chestnut it becomes a dark green.

Keeping tabs on these along with your wonderful back catalogue on instagram...looking forward to seeing what you do with them.

For minis that did absolutely nothing for me I have a new appreciation for the simplicity of the Stormcast designs having painted one.

Impressive following your process for metallics. Certainly got your own distinct style to them, and it works wonders

what i see it might need some deeper shadows. but then i know you probably have 100 or so lamps pointing at it. and real metal always is a bummer to photograph.
