test your color IQ

I\'m not sure how long you\'ve painted for has anything to do with it but it\'s still a good score.

Also, I do have a very good monitor. It\'s not been calibrated but it is rather spiffing.

I didn\'t spend ages checking. I just dropped them in place and then just quickly went through them once and changed a couple over. Still, if there was one thing my art teachers said it was my use of colour was good.

I posted a 4. Being a graphic designer by trade, I\'d guess I\'d better do well on a test likethis!lollollollol

Oh retried it now and got a Zero too.. I thought some of the hues weren\'t exact though. 2 of the bricks were a bit darker then the colour I would have predicted. Didn\'t fit anywhere else however and they were the correct hue. Maybe it\'s my screen or my head that is messed up? I\'m very tired.

I agree man, a few didn\'t look like they fit right anywhere but I tried to think systematically where the gradient was trying to go (hue not brightness). I know my color settings aren\'t even close to accurate at the moment. I have a dual monitor setup and since my computer meltdown a few months ago I haven\'t gotten around to color matching the two different screens yet. The gamma is radically different between the two, looking at any images side-by-side yields a pretty surprising difference.

This test is a great idea, but this kind of thing is definitely as much a test of monitor & settings as it is of colour vision and the step from one block to the next doesn\'t look to be uniform.

It doesn\'t actually give you a zero if you get them all right

I went back and actually paid close attention to what I was doing instead of pm\'ing 3 people, talking on the phone and doing this all at once and guess what! I got 0! I can tell my colors apart! :flip:

11, which apparently is high in CMON parts! ;-< I\'d be interested to see if I could do a little better if each bar was on its own page, my eyes started getting kind of wiggly doing this.

An 18 under the pressure of doing it in work whan I shouldn\'t be. I\'m satisfied with that, done in a nervous and ever-vigilant state.
