Testing the water for playtesters

Evening all! Because I think that there\'s no better way of testing something than having people try to destroy it for you, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in playtesting a game system that I\'ve been working on? It\'s based loosely on the Thief computer games, but I\'m trying to edge further away from making an exact copy. There are no classes and pretty much everything is skills-based, with most dice rolls being 3d6. I\'ve already run a sample scenario with three experienced players (and am going to run it with some inexperienced players soon) and it was ok with that number, and has allowed me to work on some rough areas, but I\'m sure more elude me. If there\'s any interest, I\'ll tidy up said scenario and create some pre-gen characters for people to have a go with. PM me if you\'re interested, shout out below if you have any questions.

Thanks! :)

Sure. I\'m game. I have a regular group of experienced gamers (more than 80 years of RPGs between us) that would likely be happy to destroy something for you.
Or find it worthy.

Hiya, thanks very much for the interest and sorry for my delayed response - I\'d forgotten all about this thread! Would you still be interested?

Unfortunately, I thought that writing everything up would be a doodle, then abruptly realised that 1) some of the rules had more holes than the average fishing net (think they\'re fixed now tho) and 2) I know broadly how everything works, but that\'s a problem for you unless I either send you my brain or write everything down in a clear and readable fashion. The brain option would be messy, so I\'ve spent some time doing frantic typing and I\'ve nearly got everything sorted. I hope. I should be able to send you stuff soon, the easiest way is probably for me PM you when I\'ve got something independently playable. Hey, if I get cracking, it might even be this weekend!
