Testor\'s Dullcote

Hi, I\'m new here and practically new to painting minis (painted a few when at school some 14 years ago and have decided to take it up again). I\'ve heard good things about Testor\'s Dullcote but cannot find where to buy the stuff. I live in the UK so if anyone can help me locate any suppliers I would be most grateful.

Thanks

Yes, I get mine from horsing around as generulpoleaxe link, great service and very helpfull:D Its great stuff, if you need a stronger varnish humbrol satin as a base coat then dullcote works great, but always check you dont get a reaction with the paint your using. I use foundry and GW paint and its fine, but always check.

Welcome to the forums from me as well.

for a varnish base coat i use a spray on clear cote gloss varnish desighned for wood.
it is usualy £5 a can.

it\'s bullet proof but unfortunately it then takes two coats of dullcote which uses those small cans up quickly.

Try Phil over at Idgaming.co.uk as he the dullcoat in spray cans and sells them in packs and stuff.... awesome guy to deal with so please help him out in his store!
