I\'m pretty convinced the forums are snipper-free although maybe I\'m just a wishfull thinker. My evidence is the dark maiden who made about 90 votes from the forums alone (although also posted on reaper forum), before she went active. This was over about 5 days when borg was taking a little time off, and the result was something like 89 tens and 1 nine. It was sitting there as perfect snipper fodder on the forums and it never happened, the algorithm never had to do it\'s thing once. It really made me appreciate everyone here, and made me feel much more comfortable, knowing there were none of these people around.

Ok, it may just me being my optimist self, but it\'s what I\'m going to keep believing, and you can\'t stop me!

I don\'t think you will find many, if any, snipers amongst the forum goers.
However, as to Joe\'s suggestion about posting solely in the forums, that isn\'t going to work either.
The gallery is the gallery with all it\'s faults and it is not feasible to set up an \'annex\', for want of a better description, within the forums. Links to another site are no problem, but I don\'t see how it is possible, or permissable, to use the forums as a side gallery, for people who want to try and avoid snipers???

see it as a compliment - the sad git who sniped your stuff is obviously jealous of your talent. and don\'t forget people, the most important thing is that YOU are hapy with you mini!! (and that you share it with us so we can copy!)

Joe, I\'m really sorry you\'ve felt the need to remove your pics and even more so that your gallery has been targeted.

I always knew that sniping exists but never complained of it myself, for 2 reasons really:

1) Maybe I wasn\'t sniped and the drop in score on my mini\'s was the genuine opinion of the voters that day. Although seeing a mini drop 2.0 in 6 votes from 9 to 7 is a bit crushing.

2) I always think that if I were to complain then it would satisfy the snipers who would then do it all the more.


I\'ll look out for your pics on the forums as I really enjoy seeing your work.
