They say Thanksgiving (also known as Turkey-Day), is about giving thanks for what you have, and celebrating the pioneers that came over here, and celebrating a bountiful harvest,... but in all reality,.. it's really just about "stuffing yourself stupid,.. and sleeping on the couch"

Happy Turkey day! In Canada we have it at the beginning of Oct, because we are eager beavers But we still consume the flesh of the turkey, because eating beaver with your family is just awkward

mybe when I was growing up...now I think it is just the kick of to spending more money than you have on presents...hmmm, I wonder what kind of sales cmon has today...lol

:quiet: My guess is the October would be more historically accurate from when the Pilgrim's originally celebrated.

I read that wrong the first time,... (my slight dislexia kicking in),... because eating your familys beaver,.. makes this a completely different sentence,..
