I am listening to some carols on the computer and my wife made egg nog for Christmas. Why does egg nog make Christmas time feel complete. And this is coming from a guy who doesn't care for the holiday.

Crap..I forgot to ask what does it for you. I am already dreading those freaky people coming out of the wood work trying to convince me that brussels sprouts are a good thing.

never tried egg nog

not sure what makes me xmassy. i don't really feel it much. family and doing little things for other people i guess.only me and my folks left so we don't have much but my cousins come to visit and that's nice. people are more relaxed at work and will help each other out more (longer breaks, maybe even leave early, although i got told off for giving people half hour avo break rather than 20mins the other day)

xmas songs on in the background. but not too much

My wife would have to tell you. But I do know it involves heating the eggs but not too much, or you will have an omelet.:D

My wife made it for me because there is no eggnog in South Korea. they have no idea what it is. And the fact that regular egg nog has sugar. My wife makes mine with spleenda and/or equal.

Love eggnog! Go light on the whiskey though....the creamy spicy taste and jet fuel taste just don't go together too well.

Brussel Sprouts - CHA CHING!!!!

I won't tell you that sprouts are a good thing. Unless you have them in your nog, in which case they're AWESOME!

I'm 100% certain, I will force myself into making egg nogg this year. Never had it, never tasted it, probably can't buy it here, but I'll find a way.

My wife has one that has pretty much every liquor know to man in it.:D
Ok, that is an exaggeration, but it is pretty toxic. My wife was saying it's the music and the live tree tha does it for her.

love egg nog, other than that its all horror to me, though.
the frantic strangers, who feel obligated to be as$h*les to everyone who even mildly inconveniences them, the piggish and arrogant decorative displays, rewards for little bastards who haven't been good, lying to children about some creep in a red suit who does B&E, advertising for crap that we "need" getting crammed down our throats 24 hours a day for three (+) months, with implications that if we dont buy such and such garbage, then we are somehow inconsiderate. oh, those "do" it for me all right. i have holiday cheer spewing out of my holly-jolly butt.

A roast and yorkshire pudding do it for me... It's all about the good food... some presents are a plus too, but I don't sweat them, and they really don't contribute to my feeling christmassy.
