@Ainu - now, I\'m no EXPERT on brass, having only played bugles (Valveless trumpets - think of rememberance day when someone plays the last post)
But I know that playing the bugle, due to the embature (spell?) - that is the shape of the mouth and lips when playing, there are only a few notes within a scale that a human can achieve - although, if you are good you can get these same notes in 3 scales (even more if you\'re expert)
I think they are something like F, Bb, C, and D#
Now, valved instruments like trumpets, etc allow the player to lengthen the tubing of the instrument, thereby altering it\'s pitch, and still alter his own embature to hit a range of notes, giving a greater range...
However, I\'m not sure whether that would allow the full range (A, Bb, B, C, C# ... etc)
So maybe she COULDN\'T be able to transpose what she had learnt on the spot - and also, anyone who has tried to transpose a piece of music - unless you are very skilled it can take a while.
Forgive the long winded answer, and I still find it funny due to the crappy \"dance\" routine that went with it, but I can\'t help but feel for her musically
