I don’t think this question has ever been truly answered. It seems like the scorpion is exactly the kind of weapon you would want to use to bring down a giant. So if I fire a scorpion at a giant, and it hits twice, the unit card states that hits from the scorpion are unblockable. So, do I cause four wounds, or do I just cause one? And if I just cause one, how do you stop a giant?
I suppose I have the same question for the Lannister‘s. The mountain, when he hits, causes wounds. It would seem that any weapons that specifically cause wounds would ignore this special rule. I kind of understand a giant being swarmed by a unit of infantry and only taking three or four wounds even though they suffered a multitude of hits. But, you would think large weapons could actually take down a giant. This becomes very problematic when fighting armies full of these things, I would think. Other than a dragon, there doesn’t seem to be a way to quickly take them down.
or, am I thinking about this incorrectly?
