Well its The Basement FigureWorld's update time again.

The Bust

The title of the mail might have you wondering what we are talking about, well its this simple, on the day at Maelstrom games we will be giving away the the wonderful Celt Bust sculpted by Rob Lane.

There's pictures available of the bust here on the webzine

and on our forum

There are 30 copies of the bust up for grabs, there are just a couple of rules that you will need to follow.

1) You need to turn up on the day. Only people actually there on the day qualify

2) Display at least 3 figures, this can include works in progress. Actually we are hoping that people do bring the figures they are working on, its a great talking point and also a chance for people to see how each other work towards a finished figure

3) Last but not least the display has to be in place by 1.00pm. After this time during in the next hour or so a raffle ticket will be placed on each display qualifying and a draw will take place towards the end of the day. If your lucky enough to receive the bust then you can collect it on the day before you go home.

The finished example painted by Adrian Hopwood can be seen in Maelstrom Games shop display cabinets and will be there for the coming months, till the day of the show.

Theres more news, as if that's not enough,

Traders.

In addition to Maelstroms extremely well stocked shop, I never fail to spend money in there when I go, we have traders attending on the day to further tempt you to part with your hard earned cash, The three up to now selling their wares are Elgreco Miniatures, Hawk Miniatures and MDC. Watch this space for more info.

We are still working on ironing out the demo details, there will be a stop press in the coming weeks to let you know who is going to be doing demo's.

On the subject of demo's, we had a very enjoyable day at Maelstrom on Saturday and we are doing another day in June, on the 12th to be precise. Come and see us bring your figures, we would love to see them

On the actual day of FigureWorld we want you to know who to ask in case you need any help, so on the webzine (http://www.tbfm.co.uk), there's a bio of us all, plus in some cases a scary picture

More as we know it.
