I was just wondering, what was the price of the battalion boxes in year of 2000. Or when did they change their price, if they did or is the price the same as it was 5 years ago. Anyone know, i would prefer it in australian currency and changes, any others would also be helpful.

Its 2006, thats 6 years

I don\'t know about year 2000, but i think in 2002 it was $135 OZ for a battalion

They used to be $110 CAD before they went up to $130 CAD recently, few months ago, last year, whenever. They were $110 CAD for at least a few years before that.

I think...When the Battalion Boxes first came out, it was for the Empire and Orc armies.

I bought an ORC Battalion box, and I\'m pretty sure it was about 80 bucks, American. Of course back then, gas was only 1.25 per gallon as well. Funny, but I\'m not making much more money in my job than I did then....

Why is it that we expect the prices of wargame miniatures to never rise unlike other consumer goods. Im in need of a new truck, Id love to go into my dealership and buy a new F-150 for the price of a 1994 model.. the last time I bought a new truck..but thats not going to happen.. face it people the prices of everything includeing wargame miniatures goes up.. so lets quit bitching about it. If you can\'t afford them get a new hobby..you know one of those other ones where apparently the prices havent gone up in the last 10 years..

I think I read somewhere that the average price rises for products/consumables etc in the UK was 25% through 1995-2005. GW rises were 100%, up to 200% on many products. That\'s what pisses people off.
