The beautiful world that we\'ve all made

I\'ve been tied up with work over the last week or so, and after a few of the gems I\'ve had to reveiw prior to translation, occured to me that if the only things we really get worked up about are GW\'s price hikes, then things are pretty screwed. Thought I\'d share a couple of quotes with you that I\'ve found in the various agricultural/economical texts I\'ve been wading through, just to brighten up your day.:)

Eliminate the Human Element.
-Generates Value for Supplier
-Improves Decision Making at Retail

The End of Cooking:Sell Solutions not Ingredients

The Beginning of a New World:Retailers Who Will Succeed.

(from a presentation entitled Retailing at the End of the World.)

Clouds on the Horizon :The energy sector is subject to additional geo-political and supply-side shocks
Development of alternatives is slow and will not fill demand gap in medium term
Get used to paying these prices for oil and other energy sources
This is a global problem because oil is a globally priced commodity

Geo-political conflict - Negative impacts are generally greater than positive events

Climate Change - This has begun and the best approach is to face it squarely. There will be both positive and negative implications but farming and food production will be changing globally.

(incidentley, it\'s october here on the east coast of spain and I\'m still walkin around in shorts and sweating like a pig..That\'s not normal)

Hmm I can\'t wait to bring my kids into to the world.....

Wow, that\'s kind of alot to take in... Seems there has always been trouble in the world just now we have such fast communication that we can hear of ALL the worlds troubles all at once which, to me, can make it seem worse than it has been in the past. I\'m reading the biography of Michaelangelo now and holey smokess, talk about a messed up world and society. Made me feel that the more things change the more they stay the same.

It could be argued, actually, that if the only things we get really worked up about are GW price hikes, then things are going very well for us.

Otherwise, we\'d gripe about more important things, wouldn\'t we?

Global warming is a myth.
Geo-political conflicts are a government conspiracy.
Eliminating the human element would eliminate the purchasers for the suppliers, though, and would cause catastrophic failure of their businesses. You have to keep the human element.

I think it it is understandable for people to get worked up about mini prices on a MINI site....

This is not \'Cool Geo Political Conflict or Not\' is it?

Or should we all slap on the sandwich boards and proclaim the End is Nigh?

Remember, since Bush stole Saddam\'s weather machine to create hurricane katrina, global warming is his fault as well! :D

Edit: Bush is responsible for GW prices too

But that to me is the problem, we don\'t gripe about the important things, we get lost among the petty little things.

\'Or should we all slap on the sandwich boards and proclaim the End is Nigh?\'

No, That\'s not where I wanted to go at all. But alittle perspective in our daily lives might make things a little better in general.
I thought it was kinda bizarre myself, still maybe I should go post it on \'Cool Geo Political Conflict or Not\' Do you have a link.....

It\'s funny that so many people bitch about GW Bush, but only around 50% of the population regularly bothers to vote.

Edit, who brought Bush in to it any way?

Hmmm, I think there is a good word that the W is actually.
I\'ll leave that to your imaginations.
