It\'s rare as hell and one went on Ebay for a few thousand a couple of years back.

Cheers Steve, I keep forgetting to look at Solelegends for the old references :D

If it was £50 back in 82 when it first came out then I can well imagine the price it would go for on EBay if and when it ever comes up.

I like the sleek ones best, and D. Summers did the meanest. My all time favourite being The Bridge of Sorrows

I quite like the current smaller dragons from Reaper, especially 02549: Narthalyssk and 02717: Dragon of Fire

They\'re very reasonably priced too.

my fav dragon art....

One of my favourite dragon art is this one:

http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/FR_ART/People/Klauth.jpg

I want to sculpt Klauth, based on that picture of his head..but to that scale to a normal 28 mm figure :D

But itwould be too big to store :(

I also want to sculpt the Dragon of Tyr, Borys, based on Brom\'s art from an old Darksun book.

I personally love the spined dragon...There\'s one on ebay at the minute tat\'s holding a fairly reasonable price for now.I have 2 and about 6 pairs of the wing frames.....
The old imperial dragon is a nice one as well It needs a change of pose I\'m currently updating one for someone for dark elves and have added the newer plastic wings as the old ones are way too small (the ones shown have rare earth magnets fitted so they can be removed for transport purposes.)These are some early WIP but it\'s a lot more finished now.will be posting it when complete.
The Cynwall dragon from Rackham is fairly nice as a kit I had fun painting it but it\'s a fairly fussy kit as with a lot of rackham stuff.
GW have a new one they are working on the kinks production side and the early one I was lucky enough to see is truly jawdropping and very reminiscent of the dragonheart dragon.

My personal Favorites are:

-John Dennett\'s Pond Dragon (searched for 6 years recently till my wife found me one for my last b-day)

-Reaper\'s Verocithrax (such a purely malevolent looking fellow)

-Ral Partha\'s Imperial Dragon(this was my first dragon mini at the ripe old age of 5)

-Rackham\'s Cynwall Dragon (love the pose)

-GW\'s Galrauch the Chaos Dragon (a lot of fun to build and paint, i need to get a pic of mine up)

As every good gamers house should be.:D

My personal \"Grail\" Dragon would be the TSR Vinyl Kit Red Dragon released around 1989-90. I really wish I\'d bought one then.

I can\'t find a photo of the mini, but it\'s gotta be out there somewhere.

The spined dragon takes it for me hand down.

I always wondered if anyone made a Verminthrax miniature. I would love to own it.

Best Dragon

I\'ve always loved the dragon from the \"Bridge of Sorrows\" cover from Dragon Magazine. I have the Ral Partha diorama too, which I have yet to assemble. Waiting for the time to be ripe, I suppose.

I\'ve always loved Ral Partha\'s \"Golden Dragon\" too, for sentimental reasons.

Man, I\'d kill for a Vermithrax mini. There was one at the game shop I frequented as a kid (Dream Wizards in Rockville, MD) that someone had painted up and put under glass. Way cool.

Dragons you say... hmmmm, I have a few ;) I went through a phase of collecting them via eBay. I already had the Great Spined dragon - mint, still in its box with the wing template etc and now I have another two

I\'m at work atm so will prob post again with list of some of the nicer ones I have - some are really rather large. I have nice dioramas - one with two dragons about to pull a man apart like a wish-bone! and another with a huge dragon rampaging after some dwarves who were after his treasure.

My last acquisition was from Dark Sword Miniatures who finally got around to releasing a model based on the Northwatch Dragon picture done by Parkinson... he\'s lovely
