The Carnosaur is finished!

So now he\'s finally finished! What do you think? It\'s my first attempt at the so debated NMM. It\'s my blue carnosaur by the way

Nice! The colour for the gold is spot on, and is awesome for a first attempt. When you start getting a little more confident with it, forget the edge highlighting and try to imagine how light would reflect on the armour (simplified, of course).
The carnie is actually my favourite part of the whole thing. I like the scales, contrast, etc.

The cream on the big lizard is well done. Whites are just so hard to do but this is great. A real nice beast.

Beautiful...about the only thing I can say is perhaps the shading of the carnie\'s skin needs to be a tad darker...but that may just be personal taste. The scale work is nice as is the NMM.

Thank you guys for all the nice comments! I\'m actually really, really proud of him, and hopefully he\'s gonna be my first 8+ mini

How I did the carno:
The scales are painted from regal blue to enchanted blue and then highlighted with more and more skull white added to the enchanted blue.
The white skin is made with a basecoat of bleached bone, a few very thin washes of chaos black, and then highlighted with bleached bone mixed with more and more skull white up to pure skull white.
(All GW colours)

I then gave the Oldblood some blue scales as well to connect him more to the carno, who really is the big star of these two guys.
