The Color Purple

I am wondering if I can highlight the color purple with blue. I'm painting the skin on the new GW Zombie Dragon model, and I've started with a dark blueish-purple color, which I am considering highlighting up to enchanted blue, or some tint / shade of enchanted blue. I think that it may add a mystic "dragon" quality to the model, but I worry it will look unnatural. Thanks for the advice!

I would some of your base color in whatever blues you use, this will keep in balance. The last thing you want is a Zombie dragon that looks un-natural

You forgot an action verb, and I don't know what to do with some of my base color.

oops, sorry about that. I would add some of your purple base color to the blue to keep it in balance.

You can highlight purples with whatever colour you want, all that really matters is what you think of the effect.

Generally though I'd prefer to go more towards magenta/red in the highlights, more blue in the shadows, assuming I wasn't aiming for a uniform hue.

I decided to use a violet that I highlight to a light blue for the skin, red darkened to black for the meaty zombie parts, and a green mark of nurgle on one of the wings. I'm going to run it as a summoned greater daemon. Do you guys want to see pictures when he's done?
