The craziest places and competitions for painting a mini

What are some of the craziest places you have tried to paint a mini, and what are some of the craziest competitions you know of or have entered?

I once painted a mini on a bus trip down to Baltimore Maryland for a Golden Daemon entry. I made first cut, but that was way more than I expected.

As for competitions “Iron Painter” three days one battle force and commander start to finish that includes basing on all the models.

Not me, but I think somebody, possibly even here, was complaining couple of years ago how fast paints dry up in the (Iraqi) desert. So, I assume that would be craziest place by far

I used to be in a drum and bugle corps, and I would sometimes paint on the bus going to our competitions.

It's kinda obvious which ones I painted there, too.
