I really don\'t think of it as \'going out there to taunt him\'...I feel more that he has come here to irritate us.

He\'s suspended himself ina see-thru box over one of the busiest parts of London. To my mind that\'s like covering yourself in jam and chucking bricks at a wasps nest...(to quote myself from a previous post).

If he was doing something faintly interesting, or even raising money for charity, I am sure he would get a slightly warmer response.

Personally, I think there are enough starving people in the world already who have no choice over their situation . Do we really need an egomaniac millionaire imitating their plight in order to get himself even more publicity and even more money...?

Absolutely right! The whole thing about this self seeking, self publicising, gimmick monger turns me off! It\'s not entertainment , it\'s not educational, it\'s not a protest, it\'s just \"Look at me Look at me!\" Those people who are going out to taunt him are no better either because there are some who will feel sorry for the prat!
Me, I enjoyed the game cos it was a good way of shooting the git without wasting ammunition.lol

Must be the \"friendly Canadian\" blood in me, but I have no hostility for him nor does it really bother me. In fact Im vaguely curious to see if he can pull it off. That would include if I drove past him every day. Totally irrelevant to me if he wants to try this type of physical endurance test.

And his other \"real\" magic, like the card tricks he does, is great stuff - so I admire his skill in that regard.

I personally love Weebls-stuff. Right now, possibly the most addictive and strangely hypnotic thing I\'ve seen on the web is from him. And, because I\'m an evil bastage, I\'m going to share it with all of you so that it can be stuck in your heads, too.

Sorry Jarrett, but IMO it\'s not an \'endurance test\' it\'s an intrusive, offensive publicity stunt that he has shoved in our faces. It may be the \"aggressive English\" blood that flows in my veins but I\'d be happy if they just left him up there until he croaked.

I\'d be bloody ecstatic if they shoved Uri Geller and Paul Daniels in there with himlol:bouncy:

Well, Im far more offended (and disturbed) by a person who makes a game about shooting a particular individual (as opposed to some sort of \"shoot the generic bad person\" game) than I am by the individual being shot at in this particular case. Even if it\'s presented in a cartoony fashion. Bad taste imo.

But the head didn\'t explode for me! I feel cheated. He just fell down and died.

I am no fan of violence, but I\'m also no fan of David Blane. I used to be. I watched all of his shows, the one where he made the card appear in the police officer\'s shoe, and then there was one where he \"magically\" had some chick\'s boyfriend\'s name appear on his chest in ashes. Then I learned that the majority of his \"tricks\" are of the photography kind. That is to say, trick photography. I was disappointed.

Oh well, it is magic, afterall.

I stick to my theory that it is possible he isn\'t even really in there.....

Actually...

..Someone was found guilty today for criminal damage to his \'tank\'. Apparently he had climbed scaffolding nearby \'to get a better view\' and then had thrown a water bottle he was carrying at the tank which had disconnected the water supply.

Unfortunately someone fixed it later on
