Looks great, I especially like the plaster \"skinning\" on the wall section. I would however make the shading between the fingers a bit darker to help seperate them out a bit more. Oh and maybe make them a little bit red at the joints to show how cold it is.:)

I really like the winter pallet you\'ve employed, lovely colour choices.
Agree about separating the fingers, and also, skin in the cold takes on a reddy pink appearence, so you might want to selectivley glaze areas like his knuckles, his ears and the tip of his nose with a cold red.
The stubble looks a little heavy, I\'d take it back with a couple of glazes of your flesh colour, and maybe you could carry the rust effect into the snow, although I\'m in two minds about it as I like the base alot the way it is, great job though.

Is it me or do his lips look blue? :)

I agree with what\'s been said, but that is a GREAT base - very well weathered :)

Tbh though if I was painting him, I would\'ve done his hands as though gloved :)

Nice mini. But, to tell the truth, I was distracted by your avatar, logo and name. Breadhead. Reminds me of that Heywood Banks \"Toast\" song.

if you give the hands a blue glaze, not to change the colour.
it will tweek the tone towards the cold pallette you have used for everything else.

then (as was previously mentioned) use reg glazes to bring out the knuckles and realy make the guy look cold.

looks cool mate, nice job. :)

Great piece.
I agree about the flesh, just those extra glaze\'s will really improve the scene and overall feeling of the base.

The green eyepieces and lenses help for a focal point, but the red helmet on the base could have been done in a less prominent colour, perhaps blue? Which would have fitted with the cold, and been less stand out.

Concure with the gloved hands

suggestion. I\'d also consider a bit of a cammo pattern on the back of the cloak. A random gray splotch (urban, but not the digi) would really help him hide and break up his outline.

Love the base.

Thanks guys.

If and when I do decide to revisit him i\'ll definitely glaze the skin and give him redder knuckles.

Agree that the red helmet in the foreground is a bit distracting, but as it\'s half covered in snow it would be difficult to re-do!

One of my original ideas with this was to put an urban camo pattern on the cloak but the time constraints of the competition put paid to that idea.

I love the work on this mini.. save for one thing: The hands. They look unfinished. I am not going to repeat everyone else\'s comments, but I will say the contrast on the hands is not to the same scale as the contrast on the rest of the model.
