Don't worry about it. Even back in the good old film days your photos were exposure and color corrected by the printer. As long as you're sticking to fairly basic exposure correction, you're not misrepresenting anything. You're just making your photos look like they should. A good camera with manual controls and a proper lighting setup can go a long way to reducing the need to adjust things.
One thing to remember, particularly if you're shooting with a DSLR is to export your photos in a sRGB gaumet. Many DSLR's default to aRGB, particularly in RAW mode. Exporting to JPG without converting will cause some color shift.
