The Fifth Element

Does anyone know if there are any Fifth Element miniatures or resin/viynl kits available? I would be very interested in either the Mondoshawan or the Mangalore. Oh and of course Leeloo. :D :p

There was some resin kits done at one time, especially of leeloo. Best look in that direction. Ive never seen any 28mm stuff.

Strange thing about that movie...the first time I watched it I thought it was extremely dorky....

Years later, I saw it on cable TV and adored it....now its one of my favorite SCI FI movies....

Thanks for the link Duende. It is a lovely sculpt.

I wonder how hard it would be to sculpt some minis in either 28 or 54 mm. Hmm...can\'t sculpt. :(

Well, gee, I wonder how hard it would be to find a sculptor around here!

 (not like people don\'t advertise in their sig lines or anything!)

Well to be honest with out a license..Id probably not touch it myself.. but as for prices your probably talking in the $400.00 per figure price range and maybe more depending on size and complexity.

$400? Wow I had no idea. Okay thanks. I guess I will just dream.

yup 20-30 hours sculpting time per mini.. its not cheap. Im sure there is someone out their willing to do it cheaper..but you get what you pay for.

My suggestion is get some putty and get cracking..no time like the present to learn how to sculpt. And with all the information available today on the net its much easier than when I started learning almost 18 years ago.

Thanks for the info DFD. Frustrated Father over on Wyrd found some links for resin kits. Most under $100. I will probably go that route for now. You are right though, it would be a good reason to learn how to sculpt.

I love the movie too! Oddly enough I know they guy that has the licence to produce 12\" figs. He\'s done some great sculpts of the Diva, Leloo (multipazz) Dallas, Oldman with the red button gun and a Magalore. Saddly he hasn\'t been able to get a company that wants to manufacture them...

I saw Leloo at GenCon last year and there was some company that had 28mm movie minis that were misnamed to protect the illegal use of license. They had several terminator look alikes and some Clint Eastwoods, and some Alien versus Predators. I can\'t remember if they had FifthE or not. Try www.rlbps.com.

A lot of that sounds like the Coppelstone Castings range.
