Yeah, my dad\'s on a mission, and they keep having to fly him to denver, get ready to go to the cape, then fly home because 87 dozen hurricanes are hitting florida. It\'s happened three times now:mad:

I think 3 have hit already, imposingly named Charley, Ivan, and Francis.

Fear the wrath of....Jeanne!! Ooooohh.....

My theory is that people would fear them more if they were named more aptly. I propose re-naming them Death-Kill, Maim-Horror, Property-Damage, and Hell-Rage. :D
Now that would get people fleeing. Would you be more likely to listen to a newcaster saying that you should flee Charley, or Death-Kill?

Well we saw the news this morning about Orlando & Fort Lauderdale getting battered.
Heads down everyone and drop in when you can to say you\'re OK.

Good luck IPM & co.

I\'m quiet amazed you guys have so many.

Usually we have a few over here, but they seem to take more interest in the americans.

House is asleep (except me I have the sleepless feat & don\'t worry I will wake them if needed) we have about an hour before the eye wall squalls approach and the 100+ winds and we have been nervous all day. We are as prepared as we can be and waiting to lose electric. Becca has her headlight gift close by so she can paint cause it will still be dark in the daytime inside with the plywood on the windows. I have faith we will be ok thank you for your care and thoughts. I will post as soon as we are able afterward. I posted a weather page for our area on the Web Page
If you wish to keep up with us.
Thank you for being a constant positive influence on Becca and my family during our transitions in life. You all have been great.

My inlaws were evacuated yesterday. Their house suffered minor damage from both Charley and Francis. Hopefully Jeane will also only cause minor damage.
This is an unusual season. Apparently one state has not had 4 hurricaines in 1 year since Texas did almost 150 years ago.

When the wife and I moved to California, they were soooo worried about earthquakes. We never felt one, but since then they have been evacuated about 6 times (Flagler County gets a lot of fires on top of hurricaines, Florida being the most lightning-active place in the world).

Ok, keep your heads down over there - ya\'ll appear to be having more problems with things being thrown around than we are over here.

And I want to thank you and Becca for all the support you\'ve shown me over here while all this is going on over there.

HAHAHAH, that was funny!

we just recieved power (were all crossing our fingers in the hope that it wont go off again, this one was worse than frances more downed powerlines and trees than last time, the good thing was that there wasent as many small branches down cause they were all downed with frances and charley, so....

thanks to all who cared about how we are doing, in a really warped, weird way, its cool to be a part of history...4 storms+6 weeks = book of world records:D

Well, at least among celebrities....

There are times that I\'m glad I\'m not a high-profile movie star. But then, I look around at the girls in my house or lack thereof, and I think that having a twisted religious zealot after me would be a small price to pay.

Insert comment about global warming and when will the US governement start to beleive that just maybe spending a bit of monety on research to stop it would be cheaper than the damage caused by these things...

Our reservoirs are at their lowest ever (39%), and summer is just starting...
