hi to all,
i have finished this work in october 2009, for the GD in Modena (Italy). I don't have win anything but this model likes to me very much (once that i have completed to paint the green knight, i wanted run to buy another with the hope to create for the next years, another knight better of this). The colors used by me are the scaly green, hawq torquoise, skull white and sunburst yellow. The other colors are purple and gray. The base is crafted by me and also the sword, the shield and the banners on the back. i've worked hard on this mini and i hope you like it. By to the next work forged by elder-forge.

This is a pretty good mini. The freehands are very nice. But I think the sword is too big and the leaves on the base don't look enough realistic.

Great stuff!

Two little points of citism.

First: In some parts the black lining is a little to strong.

Second: When you look on the first three pictures the focus is unfortunetally on the banner with the golden cup. So the great painting on the knight is not in focus.

I gave a 9.

It is very well painted, but the angle at which you have placed the figure does not work, as the horses barding and the banner pole flags are all hanging to a different gravity pull.

I agree with Dragonsreach. Very, very skillfully painted, and the pics are nice. Just bad angle. An easy 9 from me!

Hey you two... *smile*

Imagine the horse have risen his front legs and now is lowering it... so the two flags are not to wrong any more... so in my opinion a possible explanantation

ah ah ah! i have hear the same words in my home months ago when i have accomplished this work. Some one says that the banners are strange for their position, someone says that the banners have a just position. I only say " i'm happy if you like my work ", thanks guys for your comments ;)

thank you for your 9 tagamoga :)

hi cheelfy, the sword is big for my choice (i love big weapons in Final Fantasy style and sometime i take the inspiration from this game to create weapons). I'll work hard on the laves the next time, thank you, cheelfy, for your comment :)

Sorry Taggi;
I've run that image through my mind several times and I see the material's weight causing it to drop even more towards a true 90 degree angle to the horizontal plane.
In order for the barding to be moved forward against the pull of gravity the horse would have to be carrying out some pretty serous acrobatics, which its pose does not support. Inertia on the barding would put the horse's front legs in a downward position, not a rearing one.

At first glance the caparison appears jarring in it hanging counter to gravity or movement.
Second glance, some lovely painting going on.
Third glance, oversize weapon, doesn't fit the mini, a bit lumpy along its edges.
Fourth glance, back to lovely painting. Although the nmm on the sword doesn't really suggest metal, looks like dark stone. Could always blag it that the knight picked something up off a fallen beastman.

Well i have sat exactly two time on a horse... and no I dont feel very linked to this animals... well... it was only a feeling about, that it could be right and is not totally wrong. it did not disturbed me... *smile*

Sorry for misinterpretation

I wont labour the point too much, yeah the angles are wrong, but the painting is well done, and some nice freehand, & sculpting on the base too
